At Cornerstone Bilingual School, we provide rich learning experiences for our students from grades 1 through 12, while focusing on holistic education. Specifically in the secondary department, we offer a wide array of courses taught by experienced teachers from around the world. Partnering with an American high school gives our students many unique opportunities.
Our partnership with Wakefield Schools (Virginia, USA) allows each of our students to graduate with an American diploma if they meet the graduation requirements of Virginia Association of Independent Schools. Wakefield Schools strictly monitors our curriculum to ensure we are adhering to their high standards so that our students can be prepared for American universities and beyond.
We currently have ten overseas teachers with a quarter of our national staff having served in international schools. Cornerstone truly knows what is needed to prepare these students for life abroad. On average, our teachers have been teaching for over seven years, while forty percent of the staff have advanced degrees. We also provide multiple training including Chinese language and culture to our foreign teachers.
