• Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music Performance
• Licensed by Kindermusik International to teach their music and ESL programs.
Pre-school/Kindergarten music and ESL are Ms. Harper's speciaity. Ms. Harper has worked in both Chinese and International kindergartens teaching Kindermusik ESL and McGraw Hill’s Share the Music programs.She has worked in private schools in the U.S. teaching 5th and 6th grade. Ms. Harper has also privately tutored all elementary subjects with a focus on phonics and reading. Two years ago, Ms. Harper developed a writing curriculum for 5th graders that resulted in a book of self-published fifth grade works.

Knowledge is limited, but creativity is boundless. I want to create an environment where students can, through critical reading and thinking skills, find creative solutions. These are skills that they will be able to use in any situation for a lifetime. Albert Einstein had a lot of great quotes about education, but one of my favorites is, “It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”
